ReplyDeleteJonathan's boyfriend is the very cool Simon Doonan (right side of photo). He's been with Barney's for ages. He started out window dressing. Now he "just" does the Christmas windows and is art director (or something) for the stores.
He's also a great and very funny writer: Try to find a copy of "Confessions of a Window Dresser" (out of print) with its pix of the fabulous windows. His memoir "Nasty" details some of the stories touched on in "Confession". He's got a regular column in The New York Observer.
